Description

Most people credit the Bronx, NY as being the birth place of hip-hop. Since NY is also viewed by many as the mecca of the genre, I came up with this Origins of Hip-Hop idea to pay homage to the greatest city in the world! Working closely with the talented Aurélien, he was able to capture the exact vision that was in my head. From the old-school boombox, to the the thick gold rope chain, to the flaming mic with cord wrapped around the arm of Lady Liberty, this design embodies the early years of hip-hop in NYC. We hope you like it!
